The Parmida LED Technologies 4FT LED Hybrid T8 Tube can be installed with or without a ballast. Choose between plug and play (see ballast compatibility list), or ballast bypass installation methods. The Hybrid T8 can be installed using single or double-ended connection, and can install directly into your fixture’s original shunted sockets (tombstones), eliminating the need to retrofit your fixture with non-shunted sockets (single-ended installation requires non-shunted sockets/tombstones). With a fast and simple installation in the functionality of your choice, this tube is designed for versatility and a positive user experience.

BALLAST BYPASS INSTALLATION

Bypassing the ballast will save you both time and money, as ballasts inevitably fail over time and will require replacement. When using the ballast bypass method, we recommend these lights are installed by a qualified electrician. The plug-and play method allows for a quick and easy installation method, when using a compatible ballast.
