How can I file a warranty claim?

If you ever need to request a replacement, please read about Parmida's 5 Year Warranty here to see if you're covered! Once there, please register your Parmida product, and then simply fill out the warranty claim form! If you need any assistance with the process, please reach out to our Customer Support Department and we’ll be more then happy to help walk you through it.

How can I make sure my Parmida light is DLC Certified?

If you’re looking to make sure your Parmida product is DLC listed, please follow this link which will direct you to the DLC Qualified Products List. There, you can search the Parmida model number and the information will pull up.

How can I make sure my Parmida light is Energy Star Certified?

If you are looking to make sure your Parmida product is Energy Star Certified, please follow thisk link. There, search “Parmida” and you’ll find a list of our products that are Energy Star Certified.

Can I use Parmida lights in my shower or under my soffit?

If the product specifications state that it is either Wet or Damp Location Rated, then yes! Our damp and wet location rating means that the fixture is approved to be installed in places like in the shower or under your soffit.

 How many lights can be on one dimmer?

This is dependent on the capacity of your dimmer. Please follow your dimmer’s instructions.

 

Common Issues

    My lights are flickering/strobing, what do I do?

      If your lights are flickering or have a strobe light effect and you have them installed to a dimmer, this means that the dimmer installed is not LED compatible. Please double check our compatible dimmers list to make sure your dimmer will work with our products! Also, If you are using an older dimmer, the switch may have too high of a load which would cause these effects.

        The bulb has gone out in my fixture, can I buy just a replacement bulb?

          Unfortunately, LED’s are integrated into the whole fixtures and you’ll have to replace the full fixture, but don’t worry – we have a 5 Year Unlimited Warranty that will protect you from any failures in the first 5 years of ordering your lights.

            My tube is not working when connected with a ballast.

              This issue would point to ballast incompatibility with our tube! Please refer to the ballast compatibility list for a list of ballast models that are compatible. If your ballast is not on our compatible ballast list, we would suggest removing your ballast entirely and direct wiring your fixture! Each ballast requires about 2 watts, so removing it will ultimately save you more money on your energy bill and prevent you from having to remove them at the end of the ballasts life!
