Products & Quality

The type of installation you should choose depends on the type of recessed cans you have. Spring installation downlights are hooked into the cans existing C-clips. Easy installation downlights are held into the can using friction (perfect for older cans without existing C-clips). You can view all installation instructions and specifications on the product page for each light!

If the product specifications of the light state that it is either Wet or Damp Location Rated, then yes! Our damp and wet location rating means that the fixture has been approved to be installed in places like in the shower or under your soffit on your porch.

For your reference, please download the Compatible Dimmer List directly from the product page. All listed dimmer models have been tested to function properly with our lights. We recommend choosing one of the listed dimmer models.

If the model number of your existing dimmer is not listed on our Compatible Dimmer List, this does not necessarily mean that it will not work with our lights, but it does means that this is a model that we have not tested. Therefore, we cannot guarantee it will work correctly. We do highly recommend using one of the listed compatible dimmer models to avoid any possible issues.

This is dependent on the capacity of your dimmer. Please follow your dimmer's instructions.

Our 4FT T8 Hybrid Tubes with Type A + B Installation are compatible to be installed with or without a ballast. We do recommend checking to see if your existing ballast is on our Compatible Ballast List prior to purchasing. If they are not, it means that ballast is not one that we have tested, and we cannot guarantee that it will work with our lights.

We highly recommend bypassing the ballast during initial tube replacement, this will save you both time and money as ballasts inevitably fail over time and will require replacement. Ballasts also consume electrical power and by bypassing them you will save even more on your energy bill.

For your reference, please download our Compatible Ballast List to review if your ballast is compatible. If model number of your existing ballast is not listed on our Compatible Ballast List, this does not necessarily mean that it will not work with our T8 Tubes, but it does means that this is a model that we have not tested. Therefore, we cannot guarantee will work correctly.

Common Product Issues

If your lights are flickering or have a strobing effect and you have them installed to a dimmer; this means that the dimmer installed is not LED compatible. Also, if you are using an older dimmer, the switch may have too high of a load which would cause these effects. Please double check our Compatible Ballast List to make sure your dimmer will work with our products. This can be retrieved from our product pages.

Unfortunately, LED's are integrated into the whole fixtures and you'll have to replace the full fixture, but don't worry – we have a 5-Year Unlimited Warranty that will protect you from any failures in the first 5 years of ordering your lights.

This issue would point to ballast incompatibility with our tube! Please refer to the Compatible Ballast List for a list of ballast models that are compatible. If your ballast is not on our Compatible Ballast List, we would suggest removing your ballast entirely and direct wiring your fixture, this is also a sure-fire way of knowing whether it is a ballast issue or tube issue. Each ballast requires about 2 watts, so removing it will ultimately save you more money on your energy bill and prevent you from having to remove them at the end of the ballast’s life.

Sales tax is collected in select states as required by law. You can see the exact sales tax on your order after entering your address information on the checkout page.

Prior to placing your online order, please create an online account and send in a copy of your tax exemption certificate to our Customer Support Team at info@parmida.com. Our Customer Support Team will reach out to you within 1-2 business day with further instructions.

We are sorry to hear that you have changed your mind. To cancel your order, please select the "cancel order" button in your confirmation email. We will be more than happy to accommodate your request, if your order has not been shipped. Otherwise, you can reject the shipment at delivery or start a return for refund.

We offer free shipping on all orders over $35 to USA. If you order is less than $35, there will be a shipping fee of $10 applied at checkout.

We currently only ship to Continental USA. Our team is working hard to expand to more states and countries in the future. To stay up to date on our progress, we recommend you subscribe to our newsletter, so you can be first to know when we expand!

We work hard to get your order to you as fast as possible. We do our best to ensure that all orders ship next business day. If your order is placed before 12:00PM EST, we will ship same day. Please note our warehouse does not operate over the weekend, all orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be fulfilled on Monday. While we do our best to ship all orders as quickly as possible, there may occasionally be a delay of up to 2 business days after weekends or holidays.

We currently do not offer express shipping on any shipments. In order to keep our prices low, we currently ship using FedEx Ground, UPS, and USPS, and will choose the service that is best for each shipment.

We currently do not ship to Canada or Internationally. We are working hard on bringing Parmida LED to more countries in the future. To stay up to date on our progress, we’d suggest that you sign up for our newsletter, so you can be first to know when we expand!

We sincerely apologize but unfortunately, we currently are not able to ship to APO or PO Box.

We use FedEx Ground Shipping and the typical expected shipping timeframe is 2 to 8 business days depending on your shipping address. Please keep in mind delivery may take longer during or after holiday, or during times of unexpected weather conditions. We always do everything in our power to get your order to you as soon as possible!

Returns

Parmida strives to provide our customers with an excellent shopping experience. Our products are of high quality, and we want our customers to be satisfied with their purchase. If you are not satisfied with your product, you may request to return the merchandise for a full refund within 30 days of the ship date. Please note, you are responsible for shipping back the products to our warehouse for refund.

Unfortunately, we currently do not offer exchanges. However, you can start a return request to send your items back for a full refund. In the meantime, while we process your refund, you can go ahead and purchase a different product on our website.

If your Parmida product simply fails to work for any reason during the first five years of purchase, we got you covered! This warranty expressly excludes damage or defects caused by or arising from any damage from improper use, misuse, or neglect.

To activate your 5-Year Unlimited Warranty, you must register your products within 14 days of your purchase. Register your products for a warranty today by filling out our Warranty Registration Form.

Each new purchase is evaluated by the Klarna system to determine approval. This takes into account many different factors including time of day, size of the purchase, and any history with Klarna.
